Win98 doesn't run logon script

By dbowlin ·
I have two laptops with Win98 on them. Neither of them runs the logon script on the server. All of our NT Workstations run the script without fail. Although the connection speed is poor, both can see and access the entire network through the network neighborhood. I only run TCP/IP protocols. Any suggestions?

Win98 doesn't run logon script

Ensure that your client machines have the "Client for Microsoft Networks" client service installed in the Networking Applet. Also set the "Primary Network Logon" to "Client for Microsft Networks". In the properties for Client for Microsft Networks, enable the "Log onto Windows NT Domain" and specify the Domain Name in the space provided. The next time you login, you should see your script!

This is all set up properly, and still the problem exists. Thanks.
