Dear TechRepublic, I installed a SMC EZ pcmcia adapter(smc8022/t) into my Compaq LTE
5400 laptop with Win98(4.10.1998). When I go to device mgr. the card is there without any
trouble icons & when I look under properties
it states that the device is working properly. However, when I boot the system I get the message stated below just before I get my desktop:”Windows Networking, unable to load the dynamic link library:msnp32.dll
The system cannot find the file specified.
Some or all of the following feature is not
availabe: Microsoft Network”. The file is on the harddrive.I’ve installed the full compliment of win98 communications applications. Does anyone have any ideas?
