Windows 98(standalone) gives me error msg when attempting to open folders.
Error message=illegal ops. –EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module SHELL32.DLL at 015f:7fce23b3. I have searched MSFT for this exact message and no luck. I have applied some of the ones that were close. The best I have done so far is to change error message from shell32.dll to kernel32.dll and that was from doing IE repair. (IE 5.0) The only way I can browse files is by using sys. file checker and using its’ browsing option. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I am stumped.
