We have a small(4 station)peer to peer network. Two users get their internet mail independently of Outlook, other two don’t use internet mail at all. We all use Outlook for PIM and PDA, etc. I’d like to setup the Win version of Mercury Server to actas server for intranet mail, to replace “post-it” notes. I have installed mercury, and can send messages to myself on that station, but can’t locate it from other stations. Each station has “Network” tabs set with automatic IP address (none manuallyassigned)for nics or protocols. No station has a lmhosts file, all hosts files just say 127.0.0.1 localhost.
I am missing something in the mercury setup instructions, and can’t quite figure out where it is. Can someone answer or point me in the right direction?
