Win98 Save History

Why won't win98 let me file-save as- my history? Keeps saying that the file name is in error. How can I save my history?

Saving to my history is confusing to save my documents in that the computer allows you to keeep history a specified number of days already.You will have to save on back up media or on floppys the particular files that you want to save.the history are web pages that were previously visited.
Select specific files and choose save as to the my documents folder.
