We have two Win 98 pc’s networked with Linksys 10/100 cards. We also have Sygate’s internet sharing software. The network works fine. We brought in a HP pavillion with XP on it. The HP evidently is talking to the network as the Sygate software allows it to access the web thru the 98 machine that is the server. The problem is the 98’s cannot “see” the XP machine and it cannot “see” the 98’s. We do not want to make the XP machine the server at this time. Is there any way to get it to “join”into the existing network with out installing software from the XP to the 98’s?
