Win98se Sleepy mode

Hi
When my PC (win98se)into sleepy mode or energy saving mode it does not come back to life with a keystroke or mouse move so i have to reboot or reset. How do i activare this operation?

I normally set the power mode for video to none and the drive power mode to none to eliminate the sleep mode. I've found the sleep mode to be more of an irritant than to save me on power usage. Go to the Power icon in Control panel and change the settings for AC power.

I've had about the same luck as barry, I had to go into bios to disable the power options, however I still have a keyboard with the abilty to shut the sytem down with one keypress and its right where the print screen is on my work computer so it raises issues all the time for me.
