win98se wireless problems

Hi All;

I am trying to install a wireless network using 4
machines. I can get 3 to connect properly however 2
are winxp (laptops) and 1 is win98se (laptop). The last
computer is the problem. It is an old win98se desktop.
I am using a linksys WMP11 (PCI wireless adapter
802.11b) and I cannot even get the computer to
recognize the adapter. I install it and reboot the
machine, and nothing. I use the add new hardware
wizard, and it wont find it. I have even tried to add it
manually (after the new hardware detection) and my
computer crashes. I have read some user reviews on
the Linksys WMP11 and other people are having the
same problems with Win98se. I was just wondering if
anybody got it working, and if so how?
