Window XP Screen Saver

by mslonecker . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

I have several workstations that are going to the Windows XP screen saver this is causing the machine to lock. The user then has use the crtl + alt + delete and log back onto the machine. In turn then some of their programs they have open are failing. The machine?s OS is XP Professional, with all critical window updates.

I have set the screen saver to none, change all the power settings to never, disabled for the machine to hibernate. On the NIC on the Power Management I have disabled Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. In the BOIS in the power settings I have change the API Standby State from S3 to S1.

Does anyone know of a setting anywhere that will stop the machine from doing this?

Thanks
Mary
