By khajur11 ·
I have installed some theme software & as a result my System tray clock is removed. Now how to redisplay it in sys tray?

Right click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Click Properties.

Check the box that says show clock.

Click Ok.

Pressing F1 will help you out of jams like that.

If the above doesn't work try this

by Jacky Howe In reply to Window XP sys tray

Press the Winkey + r and type in regedt32 and press Enter.

Grab your mouse and Navigate to:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]

If you look in the right hand pane you may see

HideClock REG_DWORD 0x00000001 (1)

If it exists in the right hand pane change the Value Data to 0 by right clicking and select Modify. It now should look like this

HideClock REG_DWORD 0x00000000 (0)

Log off and then Log back on to see if you have a clock.
