Windows 10 crashes daily ?

By jj.vergier ·

Hello,

My PC is running Windows 10 Family 64 bits. Since the beginning of april 2017, it keeps rebooting/crashing at least once a day.

As this has occured without my installing any new software (consciently at least), I suspect a side effect of a windows update.

When I disabled automatic reboot in System Advanced Properties, reboots turned into crashes, with dark screen resulting (no message left).

Has there been known issues with a recent update ? Do you have advices ? What log should I look into ?

Thanks to all, regards,

Jean-Jacques Vergier

Sorry

That's a real bummer. Mine affected the File Explorer window. Whenever I right click on any file, it automatically crashes and closes the File Explorer window. I got it fixed by tweaking some options, though.

Here's a resource that I thought would be of help: http://www.networkworld.com/article/3100370/windows/how-to-solve-windows-10-crashes-in-less-than-a-minute.html
