WINDOWS 10 laptop can’t see my home router – but but can see others

Here is the thing – it can see the wireless repeaters I have in the house and connect via them. But the main router does not show up in the list of “available” devices.
My phone, table and even TV see the router and connect to it
Any ideas? -

To get more help, we need more information. What make/model laptop, phone and router are you using? Have you confirmed that your laptop computer has the latest Windows updates? Have you ever been able to use that laptop on that router? Any recent hardware or software updates? What exact error message are you getting on the laptop?

The laptop is a Lenovo 300 – Windows 10 with latest updates including updating the wireless card drivers. The router is brand new supplied as an upgrade to my internet service and is Freebox Delta.
The laptop worked fine on the old router, doesn’t even see the new router in the “available connections” window – it does see other networks (as in my neighbours) and in also see a repeater I have that is connected to the router okay.
Both my phone and a tablet see the new router and connect to it fine – so a bit of an odd one!

It could be that the main router uses a channel or a frequency band that’s not compatible with the laptop. Or the Mac-address of the laptop is blocked in the router.
