Windows 200 Pro Login Scripts

I have a .bat file in the users profile that doesn’t run on Windows 2000 workstations (Active Directory is running. Of course if I put it in a GPO it runs fine. Any reason why it won’t run as a part of the profile? It’s in the right place \\syvol\sysvol..bla..bla..bla. I can browse out to Net Neigh and double click and run it?
