I am having trouble with the Volume Control on my Win2k system. I have an ESS sound card and when I look at the device manager, all of the devices are configured properly. The problem is that when I click on the sound icon in the system tray and raise the volume, it turns back down on its own. The volume will not stay at what I set it. I have checked technet and no luck. Has anyone ever seen this??
