Windows 2000

By hoayfern ·
I was trying to connect to one of my collegue PC which is using the Windows 2000. The network password screen appears whenever I try to access to his PC and asking the password, I try his log in password but still cannot access to it.

Did you know where can I change the network password in Windows 2000 ?? Did you have any idea ??

I need to access to his PC because I want to make his printer shared.

I cannot paste it here , I will write down everything:
the titel:Enter network password:
You must supply a password to this make connection
Resource:\\DUR-20-PRD\IPC$
password:

I really don't know what is the IPC$ and I check the users and I didn't found any user named IPC$

Please assist

Your colleagues PC is looking at the user name you are logged into your PC, such as "Hoay" and cannot find this in it's user SAM list. It would be best to create the same user name that you use on your PC on your colleague's PC and granting administrative access. If I remember correctily this is done from the control panel users icon.

Good luck
