By adrehman ·
I am using windows 2000 advance server. I want to run some applications at the time of startup of windows 2000. So I want to logon windows 2000 automatically without any human interaction.

Please let me know if there is any way.

In the registry, you'll find this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

(you'll also find "RunOnce" and "RunOnceEx")

Here you can add information about the program(s) you want to run every time the system starts. Remember that such programs don't have a logged-in user as id, so they run as "System User", and thus can't see any settings (like mapped drive letters) that you can when you're logged in.
