windows 2000 advanced server password reset

i have a server that operate with windows 2000 advanced server
we forgot the admin password
and this server is also standalone server
and have a critical data
we cant login
we tried to crack the admin password by
erd commander but it didnt work correctly
(we tried erd on other system like winxp and it works)
we tried other CLI utility like a offline nt registry editor
but all didnt work ??????????!!!!!!!!!
wat we gonna do ?
please help me ?

Use the logon screensaver

Use an NTFS reader from a bootable CD to make a copy of either cmd.exe or explorer.exe (depending on preference) and rename the copy to logon.scr

Place the copy into the system32 folder. (backing up the original logon.scr beforehand would be wise)

Boot the system to the windows logon prompt, wait 10 minutes for the screen saver to initialize, and viola' you'll have admin access to either a command prompt or explorer (depending on which you copied.)

From there, you can reset the password either through the admin utilities, or via command line.
