Windows 2000 and 95 Interoperability

by the_punisher79 . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

I just implemented a Windows 2000 server into our NT/95 environment. This is a quad Xeon processor system with 2 gigs of RAM and 36 gigs of HD space. To say the least it’s plenty enough computer for file sharing. The odd problem I have is that when 95 clients browse to shared folders on this new server, they intermitantly get locked up and have to reboot. It’s almost like it’s timing out and then locking the browsing computer up. Any suggestions or discussions about this?
