I just started with a new company and a consulting firm has done most of the work for them. Problem 1: They setup a new server with W2K and the domain name the used does not match the actual domain name registered. The consultants do not see any problems with this and feel it is not with the effort it will take to correct. Problem 2: What is the best way to correct this. In Windows 2000, if you want to change this, I thought you needed to reload the OS, the consultants said removing and re-installing Active Directory will take care of it.
