Windows 2000 and Oracle

by rsando4 . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

I have an end user that who’s desktop was upgraded from NT to Windows 2000. When on NT she would run weekly reports of up to 400 per week without a problem. These reports would contain on the average 3 pages. When here workstation changed to Windows 2000 and she attempted to do her routine, Windows 2000 would come up with an error of ‘Fetch out of sequence’ when only 40 or so pages have been processed. We had her shut down any applications she had running on her machine such as; e-mail, wordprocessor, etc. and this seem to solve the problem for awhile. Let me also mention at this time that the server is a NT. My question is as follows. Is there a compatibility issues between NT and Windows 2000 or is there issues of how Windows 2000and Oracle communicate?
