    Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 AD

    Hi,

    I have one question can someone tell me what is the major difference between windows 2000 and windows 2003 active directory.
    If any document available on microsoft or any other website then please let me know because I am not getting information about the difference.

      Please check the following document: it shows the new features in 2003 that either didn’t exist or are improved in windows 2003.

      1) In 2000 we cannot rename domain where as in 2003 we can rename domain.

      2) 2000 supports IIS 5.0 and 2003 supports IIS 6.0 .

      3) 2000 supports 4-node clustering and 2003 supports 8-node clustering .

      4) Code name of 200 is Win NT 5.0 and Code name of 2003 is Win NT 6.0 .

      5) 2000 supports IP V.04 where as 2003 supports IP V.04 & 0.6 both .

      6) 2000 doesn’t support Dot Net where as 2003 supports Dot Net 0.2 .
