Windows 2000 bootup and restart issue

By ray_m_hicks ·
While booting up in 2000 a picture appears which was placed as a wallpaper by a user at one time. I wont to get rid of the picture from appearing during bootup. This jpeg is not the wallpaper any more but is basically showing everytime during bootupor restart. The picture appears just before the system finishes the bootup process and goes to the desktop.I fixed this once before over a year ago and i forget how I got rid of it from appearing during the bootup process.

I know what you are talking about. It is very annoying. Solution to this is set your wallpaper to "None" . Set appearence to "Windows Classic" and Reboot system twice. This should take care of your problem.

Atleast it workes for me.
