Windows 2000 Disk Quotas

By btrue ·
Is there a way to reset disk quotas in Windows 2000? We have different quotas setup for different users, however at times we would like to be able to reset them. If a user gets to the say 50meg limit, is there a way to reset it so they will have 50 more without changing it to 100megs?

In short, no. The only way to reset the quota limitation is by re-entering the limitation.

You can change the current ownership of the user's files to administrator. The user will then have 50 MB free for use.
It's a workaround, because you can't reset quotas.
