“Windows 2000 Pro and Profiles”

I have a Dell laptop that is getting this message when logging in to a Domain each morning “Windows cannot load the users profile but has logged you on as the default profile for the system” I have replaced the users profile with a new one and this seemed to work for a few days. But today it is back. Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this?
