Windows 2000 Pro network problem

by shanghai sam . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

Okay, I’m going to say this as literate as I can. At home we have a Windows 2000 Pro “server” and two PCs connected through hub to it. We have DSL at our house and want to be able to surf the internet/check email through all PCs. We have a firewall running. On the “server” where the DSL is connected we can do all but on the PCs.. sometimes it lets us to sites and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it lets us check email other times it doesn’t. Do you think this has to do with proxy or DSL through Bellsouth. Does anyone know if they have any kind of monitoring where they could determine that we are using for a network and not just one PC? thanks for any help you can give me.
