When I log on locally I can change wallpaper just fine but when I log on to my NT 4.0 server then I can't change the wall paper.
There are no profiles or policies set on the server to restrict this.

Easiest tthing to do would be to probobly just add the domain group users to the power users group on the local station. You can change this by going into the users and groups in the control panel and adding the group from the domain.

There is apolicy in place, but not the way you'd expect. Your login on the NT server probobly isn't recognized by the 2000 machine as some sort of user, so it's treating you as a guest on the system, which pretty much locks down most functionality, like changing the desktop, setting the time, etc...

Good luck to you

Mark
