I noticed a file called “hiberfil.sys” in my C drive root directory. It was about 250 meg in size with a date stamp 1 day old. I tried to delete it but I got a message back saying it was currently being used and there was a sharing violation.
What is this file? Do I need it? And if not how can I get rid of it?
