Windows 2000 Profiles

By alex.ramirez ·
I was hoping to find out if anybody out there knows how to have one profile for every user that logs into the computer. The computer is part of a domain, and the computer itself is a Windows 2000 Professional.

Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Users and Passwords. On the User tab, deselect the checkbox that says users must enter username and password to access this computer. Alternately, if you are using Active Directory you can setup a mandatory roaming profile. Or you could manually hack the registry keys for user profile under HK LM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\user shell folders and manually redirect them to a shared network location.
