Windows 2000 RAS Server in an NT Domain.

by dan_withrow . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

We have a Windows 2000 server with a 16 port Rocketport installed, we seem to be unable to get any of the modem ports to authenticate themselves to the NT Domain. We have over 80 locations out in the field and all they are going to do is authenticate to the domain and then copy files onto the server. So it’s not a question of having remote users access applications or anything of the sort, just a quick file copy then disconnnect. Does anyone have a quick and dirty checklist for a Windows 2000RAS server setup that allows for authentication to an NT Domain, other than referencing the Windows 2000 help which seems to lead us around in circles?
