Windows 2000, Restarting Problem!!

First of all, you may not have a windows problem... with modern atx power supplies and motherboards, restarting problems can occur easily at a hardware level. I would start by disabling advanced power management in control panel and also see if youcan change your power supply to act as hardware driven only, instead of software. Also you might check voltages coming out of the power supply to the motherboard and make sure they are to specs.

Windows 2000, Restarting Problem!!

first of all, go to control panel -> system
-> performance -> start and ...(i forgot)...
and uncheck restart automatically if error...
then wait to the problem occurs...the pc dont restart but will show you a blue screen
(microsoft logo!)and the error code...
generally is caused by an outdated driver or
a configuration error in networking...

sfmbe (sorry for my bad english)
