Windows 2000 server available memory

I am running windows 2000 server on a compaq proliant 1600 with 1 gig of ram. After a reboot, the available memory goes down to 2 mg or less. The server is running our school Skyward software, and symantec antivirus, that is all. I need some helpin figuring where the memory leak is?
