Windows 2000 Server Joining NT4 Network
We have a Windows 2000 Server that has a Novell Network Client setup and we are trying to get it to join an NT4 network. So far I have done the following: -
a. Uninstalled the Novell for Networks Client
b. Inserted a static IP Address with the relevant correct Sub-net mask etc.
c. Ensured that Client for Microsoft Networks is running.
but I still cannot get it to join the domain. The error message is that 'this is not a valid domain'.
Am I missing something here? Is simply remving the Client for Novell Networks sufficient or have I missed something?
Thanks alot
