Windows 2000 Server Timeout on Login

By jberecek ·
I am running Windows 2000 Server in Application mode and connecting using thin clients. The Logon screen will only stay active for exactly 2 minuets before reseting. This happens in both RDP and ICA protocols. Does anyone know how to increase or disable this timeout?

MS Article Q222995 only relates to sessions that are already loged on. My problem is that the "Logon" screen closes after 2 minuets if no input is made. I need the "Logon" screen to stay up for at least 24 hours. NT-4.0 Terminal Services does not have this problem.

Windows 2000 Server Winlogon has a hard-coded 120 second timeout for the logon dialog for non-console sessions.
This is by Microsoft design.
