A remote user was making a change to allow him to access Rogers hi speed internet access. He changed the computer name under Network Identifiaction Wizard to one supplied by Rogers. Now his original userid and password are not recognized. He can't seem to log on to the computer to gain access to his installed software. If he does log on the O/S thinks he is a new user so his software is not valid. Is there a way to access the computer and restore his original userid, domain, and password access ?

log into the local machine, not the domain as administrator. Add new user and set up passwords. Copy profile. Or, log in locally and rename the machine back to it's original ID.
