Windows 2000 VPN

By pbently ·
I'm looking for some very user friendly advice and references on the steps and considerations in setting up a Windows 2000 VPN. I'm not the best computer wiz, but I'm not a dummy either.

Windows 2000 VPN

by maxwell edison In reply to Windows 2000 VPN

There are many good resources for information on Windows 2000 VPN (Virtual Private Network) configuration. If you are setting up the VPN server from scratch, I’d suggest you invest in Mark Minasi’s book, “Mastering Windows 2000 Server”. This book is also included in a nice set that includes Windows 2000 Professional and the Windows 2000 registry. He has a site at http://www.minasi.com/

Some additional VPN articles may be found at these links:

“Windows 2000 VPN: A Painless Way To Go”

“Configuring Windows 2000 VPN Clients”

“Virtual Private Networking”

“Virtual Private Networking: An Overview”

(There’s a link to a White Paper Document in the upper right of the page.)

Good luck,
