I am creating a server enviroment at one of our new factories. For a tempory solution i have installed windows server 2003 standard edition on a tempory server, until my newly ordered server arrives. I have not installed any server roles as yet. Though i created a shared folder and aeven after setting the access control list it still ask for a username and password when you try access the share from a workstation. Workstations are running Windows XP pro and they and the server are still all on workgroup
