We are looking to move from a Netware and NDPS print infrastructure towards a Windows 2003 print infrastructure. What?s the best way to do this?
Is there a migration tool or a quick method for doing this or would we need to rebuild the servers, install and configure Windows 2003 and then setup all the printers on the server?
Also, at present we use Iprint which provides a graphical interface giving the location of each printer e.g. which room the printer is located in. What tool can we use instead of this in the Windows environment to provide the same information? Can this be done by Windows 2003 itself?
Many thanks

You ask if there is a quick method or need to rebuild the servers. Not sure what you mean there. If you are looking to use the current hardware (for the novell servers) for 2003 servers. yes you'll have to rebuild. There's no upgrading.
If you can use Windows 2003 R2, that would be ideal. It comes with a centralized management utility for printing. Can be run on any XP workstation.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
