Good Day!
After successfully configuring a Windows 2008 Server to serve as my L2TP 3DES Windows VPN Server (RAS) I cannot get to the internet, or ping an internet site (ie: www.yahoo.com) ON THE SERVER ITSELF. Machines that VPN to it work fine for all communications but the server does not. When I do try to http to the internet or ping a web site the server tries to send out ISAKMP UDP communication with that site, which is blocked nor should it work…. My question is:
How do I get the VPN server ITSELF to view websites, take windows updates, etc?
It seems the server is trying to talk VPN (the ISAKMP) to all traffic internet bound when it should just talk port 80 as if it were a regular server??
Im sure Ive misconfigured something but help would be appreciated!
