We added a Windows 2K computer to our Netware 4.2 SB network. The client works fine, but we can't get 32-bit groupwise install to run. Are using the 16-bit, but of course it "looks different" so is not popular... Suggestions?

You didn't say which version of GroupWise? However I beleive you must first run the Windows NT Messaging. Ther should be a copuy of NTWMS.exe on your GroupWise CD. Run the file, NTWMS.EXE, to install Windows Messaging. This must be done BEFORE installing the GroupWise 5.5 client.
Netware 4.2 SB was shipped with Groupwise 5.2 as part of the package - there is no separate Groupwise CD, so I can't follow up your suggestion. Groupwise 5.2 is installed at the workstation by clicking on an icon in the Netware Application Launcher. The 32-bit program in the Public directory executed by this icon does not run properly in Windows 2000, and GW does not install at the workstation. I used a 16-bit program I found in Public which does install Groupwise as a 16-bit application. This works, but it just isn't as nice as the 32-bit version and Windows 2000 users complain about it. Do you still think that NTWMS.EXE is a solution, and if so whre else could I find it? Please submit another answer if you have any further thoughts. Thank you for the response.
Sounded very promising, but WINNT.EXE is not on the Win 2000 CD either. Novell web pages say that the only version to use in Win 2000 is the one in the package WINNTWMS.EXE. I downloaded and installed it, but unfortunately it made no difference. When I click on the "Install Groupwise" icon in the 32-bit version of NAL, something starts to execute but then terminates immediately. It doesn't like something - any other ideas? Perhaps the problem is in NAL, but what?
Run the Windows messaging client first. Then run the setup.exe for the 32bit groupwise client. If you already tried to do the groupwise install before loading the windows messaging, it wil not work later on the same machine.
Tell me it ain't so! Surely there must be a registry entry that can be edited or *SomeThing* to allow me to continue??? If not, this situation, as the kids say, sucks!
I finally located the installation folder for the 32-bit GW and was able to install it without going through the installation icon provided by Netware.
