When i load into windows 2k the following happens even though i have previously installed the scanner:
Found new hardware detected, it then seeks to load the scanner again. Once that is complete i get the found new HW again and it trys to load the same scanner over and over.
The following error message appears a file being copied is older than the source file do you want to replace it?
File being SOurce– C:programFIles\HewlittPackard\HPPrecison Scan\..\hpsjrreg.exe
Target File —
C:\Winnt\System32\hpsjrreg.exe
If you say either no or yes it will continue to loop regardless and try to install the scanner again and again.
The only way to stop this happening and gain access to the PC is to press CNTRL ALT DEL and close all the scanner proggies/tasks.
Any advice much appreciated.
