Windows 8 rearranges windows, taskbar on wake-up?

By CharlieSpencer ·
I've loaded Windows 8 Enterprise 64-bit on a new HP 8300, and I'm using two monitors on a desktop. Every morning when I bring the machine out of hibernation, the taskbar and open windows have been rearranged.

Specifically, apps open on the primary monitor have been resized, apps open on the secondary monitor have been both resized and moved to the primary monitor, and the taskbar has been moved from the secondary monitor to the primary. Some of the resized windows were maximized; others were not but have had their sizes changed to something other than what they were.

I've set the Power Settings to 'Performance' and it's set to never sleep. I don't know if it is related, but when I restart a program, its windows is not the same size or in the same position as when I last closed it.
