Windows 95

By Southwest Video, Inc. ·
Old question, but a problem never dealt with...A client has a problem with their Windows 95 program...There seems to be no hardware conflicts. She must have deleted some system files while uninstalling prior I am trying to re-install windows. When I get to the first window of the error message comes up stating that Setupx.dll cannot be found and I have to exit the installation. Will anybody be able to tell me what my options are? Thank you.

Windows 95 Disk

by Rob K. In reply to Windows 95

Try using a different CD. It sounds like there might be a scratch or something on the CD that is preventing the CD player from reading that file.

Hope this helps
