Windows 95 and Office 2000 upgrade

by da1857 . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

My system is a P200S with Windows 95. I had
word 6 installed, upgraded to Office 97 and then upgraded to Office 2000. Every thing seemed to install fine but the the scroll bar
arrows have turned into numbers and the fonts are changed on the desk top icons. Is it that Office 2000 is not compatable with the Windows 95 platform? If so….does anyone know what is involved in upgrading to windows 98 without loosing the existing data. Does windows 98 just upgrade if you were to use a full version of windows 98 and not the upgrade? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
