Windows 95 Registery Corruption

What do you do when you have a corrupted registery message that comes up on the screen randomly and you don't have a backup of the registery file.

Use a registry repair utility like Symantec Norton Utilities or Fix-It Utilities. You could try RegClean from MS (download from the MS site) but this utility doesn't always do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestions to my question. I really did not have time to try out the suggestions mentioned as this computer was required urgently to run a third party software that controls temperature in the process of cultivating
mushrooms. Ibacked up all required files and folders, reformatted the hard drive and reloaded Win 95. This resolved all registery problems, the software works perfectly and operations are back to normal at the mushroom plant.
