How do you increase the registry size in a Windows 95 platform?

There is not a set size to the registry. The registry changes when information/programs are added, removed, and altered.
The registry is controlled by the two following files:
system.dat and user.dat.

In other words the registry will automatically increase in size when new things are added to the system.

I'm trying to install Visual Basic 6.0 on my system and it says that my registry is too small. When I tried to install it last time it crashed my computer.
