In trying to repair a computer hosed by a lightning surge I have a problem where Windows 95 loads ok but when it arrives at the desktop it then goes to a “Congratulations welcome to Win95 setup” screen and tries to run setup again. I have let it run through this process a couple of times and upon rebooting it always goes back to the desktop and then tries to run setup again. Any ideas what could be wrong?
