When I go into control panel, add/remove programs, on the windows setup tab I dont have any components to select. All I have is a blank box where they used to be(accessibility, accessories, communications, ect) Does anyone have an answer. What canI do without reinstalling 95.

If your PC is connected to your organization’s network; it may be that your network administrtor has implemented group policies which, among others, could have prevented users to access the ControlPanel.

If your PC is a standalone system, then try to install WIN95.

It is on a network but no policies are set up. He can access control panel, its just the one screen off of add/remove programs.

      Hi
This problem appears when you run some registry cleaners/optimizers.
In some cases they remove the entries from
      HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/setup/VarLDID
Error messages with RUNDLL32.DLL are sometimes associated with thisproblem.

The solution for the problem above is to RESTORE the REGISTRY.
      Regards
