windows 95 shutdown problems.

Yes we are still running win95 as our network client,but we will do the move to 2000 in a few months .The biggest problem I have at this stage is that a lot of pc’s running 95 hangs at the ‘please wait while your…bla..bla!What I have found after trying all possible fixes is that it only happens if the pc has network drives mapped.I tried the latest and the legacy drivers for the NIC,but still the same.We have a ethernet network,3com nic’s and NT4 running on our servers.Can anybody tell me what else to try,currently we use shift-restart to bypass the problem.
