Windows 98 auto logoff

By crcs ·
We're running a small client/server based network. The server is running Windows NT4.0 SP6, the machines are running windows 98 (Patchwork of versions).

How can I configure the windows 98 machines to log the current user off if there is no activity detected for X period of time?
If needed, we can use 3rd party software on the systems,

There's lots of Freeware and shareware that will do this. Do a search in www.download.com for "logoff" and you will find AutoLogOff 1.0 (freeware that will log a Win95/98 system off after 1 hour of idle time)... or Weepy 1.0 (where you may set thetime for logoff)... or Auto Logoff 1.00 (demo - which will log a user off after a set period of inactivity on Win95/98/nt/2000), etc.
