I am getting a black screen on startup for Windows 98SE. The screen lasts about 10 seconds and then continues loading the OS. It doesn’t appear to affect anything, it is just annoying and I would like to get rid of it. I have tried reloading Windows on top of the existing version but it did not help. Any suggestions?
